The final three competitors have been decided in the AEW Women’s World title eliminator tournament following Sunday’s special on Bleacher Report.
Ryo Mizunami defeated Yuka Sakazaki to win the Japan side of the bracket while in the second U.S. semifinal, Thunder Rosa defeated Riho to advance to Monday’s final against Nyla Rose. That match will air on AEW’s Youtube channel at 7 PM Eastern.
The winner of Rose vs. Rosa will go on to face Mizunami on Wednesday’s live AEW Dynamite in the tournament final. The winner of that match will go on to challenge AEW Women’s Champion Hikaru Shida for the title at Sunday’s Revolution pay-per-view.
Mizunami punched her ticket to the tournament final by submitting Maki Itoh and defeating Aja Kong by countout in the first two rounds before pinning Sakazaki on Sunday. Rosa claimed her spot in the U.S. final with pinfall wins over Leyla Hirsch and Riho.
