– As noted earlier, WWE held a talent meeting on Monday afternoon prior to RAW. The meeting was held to address any personal or professional issues they are dealing with. The wrestlers were told the company is there for them and they appreciate everything the wrestlers do for the company.
Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that even though DeMott is gone, racism and prejudice will still be part of the business because that’s the mentality of management. He joked that a wrestler wrote a letter to the HR department a few years ago complaining to DeMott. Instead of addressing it and keeping the matter private, the letter was circulated around the whole company.
– WWE Talent Relations Executive Mark Carrano has gained considerable amount of power within WWE lately, according to PWInsider. It’s believed that he’s currently in charge of the division. This comes after the recent departure of another member of the Talent Relations department, Jane Geddes. There are still no details on why she left, but a lot of people in WWE are wondering what happened, since she had a powerful role in the company in recent years.
