Dior Introduces Limited Edition Handbag, Limited To 30 Pieces

Commemorating the garment’s first appearance in 1947, Dior recently launched its globetrotting “Dior Bar Jacket” exhibition in Beijing. Given the name due to its intended use for late-afternoon cocktails at grand hotel bars, this exhibition of the classic Bar Jacket is aimed at educating local consumers about the history and heritage of the label’s most iconic looks.
Running through January 27 at Dior’s newly remodeled, 800 square meter Seasons Place boutique, the exhibition also coincides with the launch of a special coral pink calfskin Lady Dior handbag, limited to only 30 pieces and priced at 31,000 yuan (US$4,984). Following its wrap in Beijing, Fashion Trend Digest reports that the exhibition will travel on to Dior boutiques in cities such as Shenyang, Shanghai, and Dalian.
