Ring of Honor has been putting on great show after great show in 2017, and one reason why the company has been putting on such excellent matches this year is because they have Cody Rhodes as their champion. The company is hoping to carry their momentum forward into 2018 because ROH has uploaded a new video featuring Rhodes revealing his intention to unveil a redesigned ROH World Championship. The brand new championship can only slightly be seen as it is shadowed in the video, but Cody Rhodes says that he will be showing off the new title at the Final Battle show in New York City later on tonight.
After a full day of press with over 40 media outlets, @CodyRhodes was presented with a surprise just before his #FinalBattle main event.

Andrade “Cien” Almas has managed to completely turn his career in NXT around in 2017. His losing streak in NXT came to an end and he is now the NXT Champion. The new alliance with Zelina Vega has been a major contribution to Almas’ success this year, but Triple H sounds hopeful that there will come a time when Vega is no longer needed in Almas’ corner. In an interview with NBC Sports, Triple H said that he wants Almas to continue working on his English skills so that he will be able to carry himself on his own someday. Despite this, Triple H acknowledged how influential and tremendous Vega has been thus far, so it does not look their partnership will be ending anytime soon.
