ATLANTA, GA — If you’re planning to head down to the Georgia State Fair next month, here’s some good news — a new report says you’ll be getting the best bargain in the country.
The fair, set for Sept. 29-Oct. 8 at Atlanta Motor Speedway, is the best value among the 21 top state fairs studied for a new report by HomeToGo, a vacation-rental search engine. According to the report, a sample family package to attend a day at the Georgia fair would be $89.95.
That includes parking, an adult ticket, a child’s ticket, a wristband for rides, a corndog and an overnight stay at a hotel nearby. Georgia came in just cheaper than North Carolina’s state fair, which costs $90.84 for a similar package.
