Local police arrested 9 individuals as early as 06:00 yesterday morning in relation to the pitch invasion in Lille following the club’s 1-1 draw with Montpellier.
Individuals have been arrested on three specific counts: aggravated violence, property damage and death threats.
The Lille prosecutor announced that he was pursuing individuals on charges of “entering the field of play and undermining the security of people and property” and “provoking hatred and violence during a sporting event”.
