The Crusaders have announced that star wing Sevu Reece has recommitted to New Zealand Rugby and the Christchurch-based outfit after signing a contract extension.
The All Blacks flyer has signed a new deal that will take him through to 2024, ensuring the Crusaders will hold onto one of the best and most exciting attackers in New Zealand.
Since making his debut for the Crusaders in March of 2019, the 25-year-old has scored 44 tries in 55 matches and won four Super Rugby titles under the leadership of head coach Scott Robertson.
Robertson is happy that Reece was has re-signed with the Crusaders and said he is “one of the world’s premier try scoring wings”.

“His impact on the field and ability to create something from nothing is a special gift,” Robertson told the Crusaders’ official website.

Reece has made 21 Test appearances for New Zealand, scoring 14 tries and proving himself a key member of All Blacks head coach Ian Foster’s squad.
He will no doubt be eyeing World Cup glory in France in 2023, with his new contract keeping him in New Zealand until after the next global competition.
