Foot Mercato report this evening that Paris Saint-Germain have made an offer of €50m for Inter Milan defender Milan Škriniar, which has been turned down by the Nerazzurri.
Although the Slovakian international has agreed in principle to a move across the Alps, his team are looking to bring in €80m from his sale, although the fee could be negotiated down to €70m.
Talks are ongoing, as newly-arrived sporting advisor Luis Campos is looking to add depth to the Parisien defence, which had often relied on Marquinhos and Presnel Kimpembe in the absence of other options through injury, for instance Sergio Ramos.
A move for the 27-year-old has become a priority, with Campos set to travel to the Serie A club’s headquarters to directly move ahead with the transfer.
Škriniar sees his contract expire at the end of next season, and although extension talks had been opened with the 2020/21 title winners, the arrival of PSG at the table has changed the situation and the former Sampdoria man is now interested in a move to France.

Both PSG and the player’s camp are optimistic about the deal going through, in what would be the first major coup of the Luis Campos era.
