Recently, ZYS was awarded the title of "Excellent Supplier" by Space Pioneer Co., Ltd. in recognition of ZYS's outstanding contribution to the first flight mission of the "Tianlong II" rocket.
On April 2, 2023 (Beijing time), the Tianlong II remote one carrier rocket ignited and took off at China's Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, successfully sending the "Love Space Science" remote sensing satellite into the 500km high Sun-synchronous orbit, and the launch mission was a complete success. As the first liquid carrier rocket successfully launched into orbit in China's commercial aerospace industry, Tianlong 2 ushered in a new era of commercial aerospace transitioning from solid to liquid carrier rockets, laying the foundation for the subsequent delivery of new generation carrier rockets such as the National Long March 5 and Long March 7.
China's energy structure is characterized by "rich coal, poor oil, and little gas". Currently, the mainstream aerospace kerosene in the world is mainly petroleum based aerospace kerosene. With the replacement and use of new generation launch vehicles in China, the consumption of rocket kerosene is gradually increasing, and the development of coal based aerospace kerosene has become an important national energy strategy. The Tianlong 2, which burns coal, is the world's first liquid carrier rocket to use coal based aerospace kerosene as fuel for flight. As the only country in the world to master and industrialize coal based aerospace kerosene, China's successful first flight marks a huge leap from the development to engineering application of coal based aerospace kerosene.
As a Medium-lift launch vehicle, Tianlong II meets the requirements of low cost, high reliability and reusability, provides an innovative mode for large-scale launch, and puts forward urgent requirements for lightweight, low-cost and rapid development of its supporting products. After receiving the task, ZYS quickly responded and formed an integrated team of research, development, manufacturing, and testing. They participated in the entire process of bearing design for the Tianlong 2 rocket engine, engineering prototype stage, bearing bench test, engine ground hot test, and rocket flight. ZYS, with its deep accumulation in various professional fields such as bearing materials, design, processing, and lubrication, has independently developed and produced multiple types of bearings and components for Tianlong 2, meeting the special operating conditions of ultra-low temperature, harsh conditions without lubrication, and strict requirements for high DN values, providing strong support for the first flight of Tianlong 2.
