Issac Mbenza has joined Montpellier from Belgian club Standard Liege for an undisclosed fee.
The former Valenciennes striker will be hoping that this move will help re-invigorate his French league career after having to leave his former club in a bid to make a name in Belgium.
The 20-year-old can play anywhere across the front line, and knows that if he is given enough time in the starting eleven, his versatility will be utilized.
Mbenza previously played 52 games for Valenciennes, scoring eight goals which was considerably better than his record at Standard Liege where he only managed one goal in 27 games.
