OGC Nice and Troyes have completed a deal to send defensive midfielder Remi Walter to Troyes in a six-month-loan deal with an option to buy, subject to a medical.
The 22-year-old has been with Nice since 2016 when he joined for under £1m from Nancy, and has always been competent in playing the role as back up to Jean-Michel Seri. With 51 games under his belt with Nice and 76 with Nancy, the 22-year-old is far more experienced than his age suggests, something Troyes would have no doubt been keen on adding to their squad.
Walter has largely been a bench player this season for Nice, only making eight appearances for Le Gym in Ligue 1 this season, but this loan deal could see him get more game time and perhaps rejoin Nice in the summer looking to compete for a central midfield spot.
