AS Monaco have announced the departure of midfielder Soualiho Meïté, in a cash plus player deal with Torino FC that will see Antonio Barreca move the other way.
The deal is understood to see Italian full back Barreca move to the Stade Louis II, with Meïté and €2m arriving in exchange.
Meïté only moved to Monaco last summer but failed to make any impact for Leonardo Jardim’s side, making only 2 appearances in the first half of the season and was subsequently loaned to Bordeaux in January.
The 24-year-old has previously played for Auxerre – where he began his professional career- Lille and a loan spell in 2016/17 for Belgian first division side Zulte Waregem.
