RMC report that Ligue 1 side PSG are in negotiations to sign attacking midfielder Pablo Sarabia from Sevilla.
The Spaniard has an €18m release clause that Les Parisiens are hoping to activate by the 30th June, per the outlet.
The player is not a new target, but talks are expected to accelerate in the coming days. Sarabia has been in talks with PSG for several weeks, discussions that had been initiated by Antero Henrique and have since been picked up again by Leonardo, the club’s new Sporting Director.
This release clause in the player’s current deal expires on the 30th June and moves up to €40m, which is why PSG want to accelerate discussions rapidly.
The player wants to join the French capital side, but is yet to agree personal terms with the Ligue 1 champions.
Sevilla have in the meantime offered the player a contract extension, and Sarabia has rejected an opening proposal from his current club.
Real Madrid and Villarreal are also following the player’s situation closely.
