According to Foot Mercato, Algerian centre-back Aïssa Mandi (30) is currently being looked at by Lyon as a potential summer signing, following the irregularity of Jérôme Boateng and the injuries of Jason Denayer.
The 30-year-old, who is currently playing in La Liga with Villareal, has made 72 appearances with his national team and featured in the Fennecs 2019 AFCON winning side.
Having transferred from Real Betis to Villareal last summer, the centre-back has made two Champions League appearances, against Manchester United and Young Boys.
Mandi left Ligue 1 in 2016, having accumulated 170 appearances with his boyhood club Stade Reims.
