According to L’Équipe, the inclusion of Parisian players in a deal to bring Christophe Galtier to the capital is being considered in negotiations between PSG and OGC Nice. The discussions between the two clubs are entering a vital stage, after talks stalled yesterday following a demanded fee that PSG have reportedly turned down.
In the recent exchanges, the two sides have put forward various proposals to bring down Nice’s asking price for Galtier, who has two years remaining on his contract. One proposal has been to include several PSG players in a deal that will lower the fee for Galtier’s managerial services.
Nice have already targeted one or two young players who could meet that criteria. Both sides are looking to finalise the deal as quickly as possible, with pre-season preparations looming over both Ligue 1 clubs.

Galtier arrived last summer at Nice after winning the title with Lille. Despite an impressive start to the season, Nice’s season began to deteriorate after losing the cup final and their place on the podium, as a disagreement emerged between director of football Julien Fournier and Galtier.
PSG are still waiting to conclude a deal with Mauricio Pochettino for his dismissal, who will leave Paris after 18 months at the club.
