Speaking to L’Équipe, AS Monaco manager Philippe Clement confirmed that Aurélien Tchouaméni (22) is garnering interest across the continent, whilst also admitting the potential difficulty in replacing him.

Speaking on Monday, Clement said, “We have to be honest, clubs from Europe’s top 3 divisions are interested in him.”
Speaking to Nice Matin, he added, “There is a chance that he isn’t here next season, so we have to prepare for that eventuality.”
Clement, however, revealed that Tchouaméni would be difficult to replace. “It will be impossible to replace him with a player of the same level because the top clubs are after him. With recruitment, we need to find a collective solution to bring in a new player but also look at players already at the club like Eliot Matazo (20), who could grow in the coming weeks and months.
Tchouaméni is being strongly linked with a move away from the Principality club, with Liverpool and Real Madrid the main contenders for his signature.
