This week’s WWE SmackDown, featuring AJ Styles defeating The Miz in the main event, drew 1.948 million viewers. This is down 14% from last week’s 2.264 million viewers and the second-lowest audience since the blue brand moved to Tuesday nights, barely beating the 1.921 million viewers from Election Night on November 8th, 2016, which was the last time the show drew under 2 million viewers. Outside of Election Night, this is the lowest SmackDown audience for a first-run non-holiday episode.
SmackDown was #10 for the night in viewership on cable, behind Curse of Oak Island, Rachel Maddow Show, Hannity, Tucker Carlson Tonight, Last Word, The Ingraham Angle, The Five, All In and Special Report. SmackDown was #3 in the 18-49 demographic this week, behind Curse of Oak Island and Below Deck.
The big draw on network TV at 8pm was NCIS on CBS, which drew 12.040 million viewers. The Conners drew 6.632 million viewers on ABC while The Voice drew 8.913 million viewers on NBC and The Gifted on Fox drew 2.020 million viewers.
In comparison, Monday’s WWE RAW drew 2.285 million viewers, down from last week’s 2.369 million viewers and the lowest viewership in RAW history.
