WWE has today launched an official website for its Performance Center in order to provide fans and aspiring athletes with more information about how to join the company.
The site includes information about the application and tryout process, giving people as much knowledge as possible before they attempt a tryout.
It also includes interviews and comments from current WWE Superstars who have gone through the process as well as showing video footage of the training and facilities that are at the Performance Center. Triple H gave comments about the reasoning behind it, which you can see below with a H/T to SI.com for the transcriptions.

“The hardest part about this business is there is no pathway,” said Levesque. “We’re creating a pathway. Vince and I spoke about it, and he said, ‘Let’s go do it.’ We are going around the world to look for international stars. “If you want a career in the WWE, here is how to go about it. There is advice on what to expect at tryouts and testimonials from people who have careers in WWE. It’s all about creating the pathway, and this will really open the faucet and allow talent to flood in from a global level.”
“Vince has it ingrained in this company that we never rest on our laurels. That mentality of ‘We’re the best and no one is going to touch us’ is the kind of arrogance that leads to your demise. There is always room to grow, always room to learn more and improve what you’re doing. That is necessary for us to be able to grow as a brand and as a company. I thought that we were a victim of our own success, said Levesque. “The indies had dried up, and there was no system to find new talent. Shortly after that, Vince asked me to start that system.”
