This past Sunday we were subjected to another example of WWE fans deciding they need to be the center of attention as the live Pittsburgh crowd attempted to hijack the show and make themselves the stars during the main event.
It is a trend that has been growing more and more in recent years following the post-WrestleMania Raw’s and we have seen in countless times. From Roman Reigns and Batista’s winning Royal Rumble matches to Sunday’s Ironman match, it is creeping into wrestling more frequently.
The issue is, whilst fans have a right to chant whatever they want after paying for a ticket, the decision to hijack matches is actually damaging the product, rather than helping enhance it and within this article we will provide five reasons why that’s the case.
