According to PWInsider.com, The Wales Comic Con has announced that WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels will not be able to appear at their event in December of this year, and in HBK’s place, WWE is sending Dolph Ziggler.
The PWInsider report points out the announcement of Ziggler as HBK’s replacement is interesting given Ziggler’s contract with WWE is set to expire this summer. With WWE announcing so far ahead of time that Ziggler will replace HBK at the Comic Con, it could be an indication that WWE and the current IC Champion have come to terms on a new deal, or are currently working on one.
