As previously reported this afternoon, wrestling legend Goldust underwent surgery with orthopedic surgeon Dr. Jeff Dugas in Birmingham earlier today. WWE has officially confirmed the surgery, and added that future Hall of Famer actually had surgery on both of his knees, “and is expected to make a full recovery.”
Goldust then tweeted out a followup on his condition, stating that “everything went well” and he appears to be on his way home to recover. We wish the bizarre Golden One a speedy and healthy recovery, and look forward to seeing him back on WWE television as soon as he’s medically cleared to compete.

Goldust has undergone surgery on both of his knees, WWE.com has learned. The former Intercontinental Champion tweeted a photo from a waiting room in Birmingham, Ala., on Tuesday afternoon alongside Dr. Jeffrey Dugas, a renowned orthopedic surgeon who specializes in sports injuries. The procedure was successful, and Goldust is expected to make a full recovery.
