WWE Smackdown Live star Becky Lynch spoke with Noelle Foley at the San Diego Comic Con last week, and below is a quote from Lynch on how she would defeat Ronda Rousey in a match in WWE:
“I would beat her with an armbar. It would be armbar vs armbar. And so, Ronda is here, and can we just take a second to appreciate how incredible she’s doing. And of course she is an unbelievable athlete, an Olympian, UFC, women’s MMA wouldn’t be where it is today without her. But she has taken like a duck to water in our rings. And she’s such a Superstar, across the world, so that’s why I look at her like a slot machine. The harder I kick her, the more money’s gonna fall out, so it’s gonna be better for me.”
On eliminating Lita in the Women’s Royal Rumble match:
“That was incredible. And I got a big boo from the audience, and I’m sorry, but I was after that number one spot. It was absolutely amazing to be in the ring and to hear the roar of the crowd when she came out. Because I remember when I was younger, seeing Lita for the first time, I was like, ‘who is this woman? She’s so cool.’ And I could identify with her, and I could relate to her, I could be a woman like her. And I don’t know that I would be where I am now without having an inspiration like her.”

Becky also discusses the possibility of WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships and says she would want to team with Charlotte Flair. On their tag team name, Lynch says it would be “Tea-Generation X”, in reference to her and Charlotte’s tea time gimmick and D-Generation X.
The interview was recorded before Stephanie McMahon’s big announcement of WWE Evolution on Raw this week, and when asked what Stephanie’s announcement could be, Lynch notes she has been pushing WWE for Women’s Tag Team Titles for a long time now.
