Last night WWE officially announced that a last man standing match will be taking place at WWE NXT UK Takeover: Cardiff at the end of the month.
Two of NXT UK’s resident big men will do battle at Takeover as Joe Coffey and Dave Mastiff compete in what is set to be a brutal last man standing match.
Both men were also on the card at the very first NXT UK Takeover in Blackpool with Dave Mastiff defeating Eddie Dennis in a No Disqualification match, whilst Coffey was defeated by Pete Dunne in the main event for the WWE UK Championship.
Takeover: Cardiff takes place on the 31st August on the same day as New Japan’s Royal Quest and AEW’s ALL OUT in what is going to be a very busy day in pro wrestling.
As well as the last man standing match Toni Storm is confirmed to be defending her NXT UK Women’s Championship against Kay Lee Ray whilst WALTER will defend the UK Title against Tyler Bate in the main event.
