— In response to Impact‘s lackluster ratings, discussion of bringing Jim Ross and Paul Heyman to TNA has heated up amongst company officials.
Ross remains under contract to World Wrestling Entertainment through the 30th of this month and has indicated on his official website that he doesn’t know what the future holds for him in WWE.
Heyman is contractually free, but hasn’t shown much interest in joining TNA when friends have asked him about joining the company in the past. However, they feel he would accept a position with the company if he was given power beyond appearing as a character and writing shows.
— Desmond Wolfe’s second, Chelsea (Alison Skipper), has signed a long-term contract with TNA Wrestling. Other talent recently signed to long-term deals include Christy Hemme, Orlando Jordan and Brian Kendrick.
— TNA Wrestling conducted a fundraiser for the families affected by the West Virginia mining accident last week, raising $9,000.
