Magnus (with Bram) vs. Willow (with Abyss)
Magnus comes out first, followed by Willow. Abyss comes out to be in Willow’s corner for this one. I believe Bram is in Magnus’ corner. This one-on-one match between Magnus and Willow is up next here at TNA Slammiversary 2014.
The bell rings and here we go. Bram distracts Willow early on, allowing Magnus to gain the early offensive advantage in the match. The fight spills out to the floor, where Magnus pounds on Willow some more. Back in the ring, Magnus remains in control of this singles contest.
A light “Willow, Willow” chant spreads around the building as Willow tries to make a comeback. Magnus ends up killing everyone’s hope with a throw-away style powerbomb. Magnus continues to beat down his opponent as the fans continue to try and chant their way into helping Willow back into the match.
Willow starts making his comeback finally, and hits all of the typical Jeff Hardy-style fire-up spots and moves. The fans are totally behind Willow as he continues to take over the offensive flow of this match.
Bram gets involved, leading to Abyss coming over to beat him down on the floor. Magnus jumps on Abyss’ back and now he and Bram are beating down “The Monster.” Willow ends up diving backwards, back-first onto Magnus and Bram on the floor. That was pretty cool.
Back in the ring, Bram and Abyss are going at it.. Abyss is getting the better of things now, htting several clotheslines and a big splash before throwing him out of the ring. Willow and Magnus roll back in the ring. Willow hits the Twist Of Fate, but Magnus kicks out at two-and-a-half.
On the floor, Bram has the steel from the turnbuckle cover. As he nears Abyss, “The Monster” grabs “Janice” from under the ring and Bram backs off. Abyss chases him to the back as the action continues in the ring. The distraction allows Magnus to hit his finisher on Willow for the 1-2-3.
Winner: Magnus

In the ring, Jeremy Borash welcomes the 2013 TNA Hall Of Fame inductee Kurt Angle. Angle makes his way to the ring, as he will be making the announcement for this year’s TNA Hall Of Fame inductee.
The fans in Texas break out in “Angle! Angle!” chants, followed by “U.S.A.! U.S.A.!” as Angle’s music fades off. Angle talks about what an honor it is to be inducted into the TNA Hall Of Fame. The fans break out in “thank you, Kurt!” chants. Angle says he’s not retired yet.
Angle moves on to talk about our 2014 TNA Hall Of Fame inductee, who will be inducted at Bound For Glory, is none other than Team 3D — Bully Ray and Devon.
The Team 3D theme music hits as Bully Ray and Devon make their way to the ring. The crowd goes nuts with various table-related chants after their music dies down. Really loud response from the Dallas-area fans towards Team 3D. Prolonged chanting and cheering. Cool moment.
Bully Ray says that was the best “we want tables chant” they’ve heard in forever. The fans respond with very loud “3-D, 3-D” chants. Ray says how great it is to stand in the ring with Devon again. The two shake hands and hug. The fans cheer “welcome back.”
Ray thanks the fans some more and then hands the mic off to Devon. Devon talks about how he thought he was threw, and the fans break out in a loud “you still got it” chant. Devon talks about Team 3D going out in a blaze of glory. He closes with his “oh my brotha, testify” line. Their music plays again and that does it.
Jeremy Borash Interviews Ethan Carter III
Backstage, Jeremy Borash is with Ethan Carter III. EC3 mocks the TNA Hall Of Fame announcement that just happened. He says he beat Sting and Kurt Angle, the only other TNA Hall Of Famers, and tonight he promises to beat one of the third members — Bully Ray.
Kenny King vs. Austin Aries
Next up, Kenny King makes his way to the ring. His match with Austin Aries, which will determine the third man in the ring for tonight’s TNA World Championship cage match, which already includes Eric Young and Bobby Lashley, is up now. Out next is his opponent, Aries.
The bell rings, the “Aries” chants break out and here we go. The winner of this one will get a shot at the TNA title later tonight against Young and Lashley. Aries gets control early on, but King quickly takes a moment outside the ring to recover. Aries ends up flying out to the floor, crashing into King in the process.
King ends up taking over control of the match, including a spinning-suicide dive onto Aries on the floor. Back in the ring, Aries starts to slowly regain the upper-hand in this one. Aries is controlling King now, as he goes for the Brainbuster, but King avoids it.
The two battle back-and-forth for a little bit longer, ultimately building towards a big spot on the top-rope in the corner. King got Aries acorss his shoulders while seated on the top-rope, but Aries escaped and hit his Brainbuster superplex off the top-rope for the 1-2-3. With the win, Aries advances to tonight’s main event title match.
Winner and ADVANCING to the TNA Championship match: Austin Aries
The Von Erich’s vs. Jessie Godderz & Zema Ion
Jeremy Borash introduces Kevin Von Erich and The Von Erich’s tag-team, the first third-generation performers of the family, who are Kevin’s sons, Ross and Marshall. Ross and Marshall remain in the ring, as Jessie Godderz and Zema Ion make their way to the ring, cutting an annoying promo along the way.
The bell rings and Godderz and Ion attack The Von Erich’s from behind. Marshall Von Erich starts things off getting beat down by Godderz and Ion, with Ion ultimately settling in as the legal man. He beats on him for a while until Marshall finally makes the tag to his brother Ross.
Ross gets beat down for a while until he finally makes the hot-tag to Marshall. Marshall does a very good little comeback series of moves, but the heel duo end up double-teaming him to slow him down. Ross makes the save and now all four guys are going at it.
Marshall hits a standing moonsault on Jessie, but Ion hits him with a chair to get disqualified. Kevin Von Erich ends up hitting the ring to make the save. When he applied the Claw, which was his father Fritz Von Erich’s trademark finisher, the fans in Texas legitimately exploded. A loud eruption of cheers and “you still got it” chants filled the building as the Von Erich trio celebrated.
Winners via DQ: The Von Erich’s
