— WWE had been considering bringing back James Ellsworth as far back as for the Greatest Royal Rumble event in April, according to Mike Johnson of pwinsider. The reason he was being discussed around that timeframe is that there was an internal pitch to have him participate as one of the 50 men in the match.
— The Ronda Rousey vs. Nia Jax match was at one point scheduled to be the main event at last night’s Money in the Bank with the Alexa Bliss cash-in to follow to close the show. The decision was made earlier in the week, possibly oer the weekend, to instead close the show with the men’s Money in the Bank match instead.
— Pat Patterson, Bruce Prichard and John Gaburick were all backstage at last night’s PPV. This is in addition to Sanity and Aiden O’Shea as previously noted.

— The German announcer Cartsen Schaefer revealed on his Facebook page that he missed last night’s Money in the Bank because he suffered a mild heart attack the day before. Schaefer remains in hospital undergoing tests but hopes to be released by Wednesday.
