— Ruby Riott was injured Friday night at the house show in a match against Dana Brooke, reports Dave Meltzer on the latest Wrestling Observer Radio. Meltzer adds that the live event was a mess due a bunch of people having trouble getting in and Bray Wyatt’s car accident heading to the airport. Riott ended up facing Brooke in a match even though the two rarely worked together and it was not a match that they had been doing lately as Brooke has barely even been wrestling.
— WWE had an update on Riott’s knee injury stating that her “MRI confirmed an MCL sprain in her left knee.” There was no information on recovery but depending on the severity of the sprain, it could be anywhere from one or two weeks to several months to recover.
