Earlier this year, WWE announced that they would be hosting an event called The Greatest Royal Rumble in the nation of Saudi Arabia, which featured the first-ever 50-man Royal Rumble match. It was an interesting show that drew some controversy mainly for not having any female performers on the entire show, but the event was still a major success for the company and it kickstarted a relationship between Saudi Arabia and WWE. Not long after The Greatest Royal Rumble came to an end in April, there were already rumors about the company possibly returning to the country at some point later this year. WWE’s official return date for their next Saudi Arabia show was just announced earlier today.
WWE is indeed expected to return to Saudi Arabia for another huge show later on this year, and according to PWInsider, that event will be taking place on November 2nd of this year. This will be the second time that WWE has produced a show in the nation this year, but unlike the Greatest Royal Rumble event, there is no word on whether or not this show will be broadcasted on the WWE Network at the moment. The Greatest Royal Rumble was definitely the beginning of a huge partnership between Saudi Arabia and WWE, and although female performers will likely be banned from this show as well, Triple H has said in the past that he is hopeful that a change will be made eventually. WWE has yet to confirm the return to Saudi Arabia.
After months of hype and buildup, the All In event will finally be taking place this Saturday night. The biggest names on the independent wrestling circuit will be competing on the show in front of over 10,000 fans in Chicago, Illinois, and one match that fans have been looking forward to seeing the most is the match between Bullet Club’s Hangman Page and Joey Janela. Those two will still be having their match at All In, but a new twist has just been put on the match. It was announced on the official Twitter account for All In earlier today that the bout between Janela and Page will now be a Chicago Street Fight. Now without any rules or restrictions on their match, expect these two to have a very physical battle on September 1st.
