After a few weeks of improved ratings for SmackDown, overnight viewership for last night’s episode dropped 10 percent from last week, averaging 1.935 million viewers.
It was the second lowest audience that SmackDown has done on FOX.
Cable ratings are not available until Monday but it’s likely that coverage of nationwide protests would have greatly affected the viewership of SmackDown. Most of the major network programming was in repeats for the night, though FOX still had the smallest audience in terms of total viewers.

In the demo ratings, SmackDown was back down to a 0.3 in 18-34, which is down 14.3 percent from last week and matches the lowest the show has done in that category. It still tied Shark Tank on ABC for the best number on the networks, though.
SmackDown also matched a series low in 18-49 with a 0.5 rating, down 9.1 percent from last week. That beat everything on the networks for the night except Shark Tank and 20/20, both on ABC.
