WWE did not announce an attendance for last night’s Fastlane PPV. This is the second time in a row in which WWE did not mention any attendance figures as no mention was also made for last month’s WWE Elimination Chamber PPV Event.
New Day Members Big E & Xavier Woods took to Twitter during last night’s WWE Fastlane PPV and reacted to Kofi Kingston being screwed out of a WWE Title Match opportunity once again by WWE Chairman & CEO Vince McMahon. There was a backstage segment during last night’s WWE Fastlane PPV that saw Big E & Xavier Woods talk Mr. McMahon into inserting Kofi Kingston in The WWE Title Match between WWE Champion “The New” Daniel Bryan & Kevin Owens. Mr. McMahon would then agree to insert Kofi into the match just to find out later in the night that Kofi would be in a 2-on-1 Handicap Match against The Bar.
Kofi would end up losing that match, while Mustafa Ali was the one who was inserted into The WWE Title Match later in the night. Mr. McMahon would ban Big E & Xavier Woods from rings during Kofi’s Match but they would later run down, only to be taken out by Rusev & Shinsuke Nakamura. It is believed that this current storyline that Kofi Kingston has will lead him to his WWE Title Match opportunity at WrestleMania 35, but that has yet to be confirmed.
Xavier Woods would write, “I can’t believe…. Actually I can believe that @TrueKofi got screwed again. This is ridiculous and we will figure out a way to make this right.”
Big E would also comment and write the following, “This doing the right thing clearly ain’t it. Maybe we need to knock over a liquor store or something to be a star here…Please send me your petty crimes suggestions.”
