Triple H has been hard at work recently with his attempts to expand the NXT brand into the United Kingdom. WWE finally announced earlier this week that an NXT UK series will be arriving shortly, but it looks like the company has now begun focusing on their women’s division. In an interview with GiveMeSport, Shawn Michaels and Triple H teased that a major announcement about regarding the women’s division will be coming soon. The interview has yet to be uploaded, but host Alex McCarthy has already revealed Triple H’s statement on Twitter, and Michaels also reportedly noted that he does not think that an all-female pay-per-view or series is too far off. More information will likely be revealed during the Mae Young Classic tournament in August.
Triple H says there is a “huge announcement on women’s wrestling coming very soon”.
HBK said he doesn’t think an all-women’s PPV or even an all-women’s brand is “too far away at all”. #WWE

Whenever there is chaos or anarchy running rampant in the NXT locker room, fans can usually count on General Manager William Regal to restore order. Unfortunately, Regal has not appeared on NXT programming at all in several weeks. Regal has been absent from a number of NXT events and TV tapings over the past few weeks due to a reported health issue. Fortunately, it has just been reported by PWInsider that Regal will be making his return to NXT very soon. William Regal will once again settle into his role as the onscreen General Manager of NXT during the upcoming NXT television tapings. NXT and Regal will be returning to Full Sail University this Thursday night.
Tonight’s edition of NXT will be taking place in Chicago since the show was taped right before the NXT Takeover: Chicago event from this past Saturday night. However, the show will return to their Full Sail University home once again this Thursday night in order to tape more episodes. WWE has just informed fans through Instagram that today is actually the six-year anniversary of NXT’s first show from Full Sail. WWE produced the 122nd episode of NXT in Full Sail on June 20th, 2012, and the venue has been the home of the developmental brand ever since. The main event of that particular show saw Tyson Kidd defeat Michael McGillicutty (now known as Raw Superstar Curtis Axel.)
@wwenxt made its @fullsail debut on this day in 2012, and so did @thebodallas! See it on @wwenetwork by searching “NXT 122″…
