As previously reported, WWE held The Shield’s Final Chapter Live Special on The WWE Network this past Sunday evening. The special was made to be a “Farewell” for The Shield (Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose & WWE Universal Champion Seth Rollins) as well as an apparent “Farewell” for Dean Ambrose in WWE in general.
The WWE Network Special saw The Shield defeat Drew McIntyre, Bobby Lashley & Baron Corbin in a 6-Man Tag Team Match that took place from The WWE House Show in Moline, Illinois. The show also featured Finn Balor successfully defending his WWE Intercontinental Championship against Elias.
