It was previously reported that Impact Wrestling’s Redemption PPV takes place on April 22. It was announced during last night’s episode of Impact Wrestling that the main event of Redemption will be Austin Aries defending the Impact World Championship against Alberto El Patron.
Last month, Austin Aries defeated Eli Drake for the Impact World Title and ever since then Alberto El Patron has been hovering around the title scene claiming that he is still the champion, since he never actually lost the title. Alberto El Patron was stripped of the title last year due to a real life altercation with Paige at an Orlando airport.
You can check out last night’s segment between Austin Aries and Alberto El Patron in the video below as well as the announcement for the main event of Redemption:

Then due to what transpired last January when Chris Adonis announced his sudden departure from Impact Wrestling, a move that not even the company was aware he planned on doing, Eli Drake fired Adonis on last night’s episode of Impact Wrestling for being “too scared” to wrestle in the “Feast or Fired” match that took place during last night’s episode. Drake ended up getting one of the cases in the match, despite Adonis’ absence. Below is video of Drake firing Adonis:
Finally, after defeating Laurel Van Ness last week, it was announced during last night’s episode of Impact Wrestling that Allie will be defending the Knockouts Championship against Sienna on next week’s episode. Below is the announcement on next week’s match:
