Chris Jericho has done it all in the world of pro wrestling as he is a multi-time WWE Champion and even the current IWGP Intercontinental Champion. Ever since Jericho won The IWGP Intercontinental Title several months ago, he hasn’t yet had a single title defense, but that will all change soon as it was recently announced that he will be defending his IWGP Intercontinental Title against EVIL at NJPW’s upcoming Power Struggle Event on November 3rd.
At NJPW’s recently concluded King Of Pro-Wrestling Event, Jericho disguised himself as one of the druids that brought EVIL to the ring and would eventually attack The Los Ingobernables de Japon Member, which is the reason why the match was made. Below are the announced matches so far for NJPW’s upcoming Power Struggle Event:
IWGP Intercontinental Title Match
– Chris Jericho (c) vs. “King Of Darkness” EVIL
NEVER Openweight Title Match
– Taichi (c) vs. “The Aerial Assassin” Will Ospreay
– Tetsuya Naito vs. Zack Sabre Jr.
– “The Ace Of NJPW” Hiroshi Tanahashi & David Finlay vs. The Golden Lovers (IWGP Heavyweight Champion “The Best Bout Machine” Kenny Omega & “The Golden Star” Kota Ibushi)
– CHAOS (“The Rainmaker” Kazuchika Okada & Beretta) vs. Bullet Club OGs (“Switchblade” Jay White & Bad Luck Fale)
– Finals Of The Super Jr. Tag League

IWGP Heavyweight Champion “The Best Bout Machine” Kenny Omega is one of the hottest pro wrestling star in the world right now. He has had a busy few months as he has been defending his IWGP Heavyweight Title all around the world and he has even been competing in a whole different level than any other pro wrestling star today. Just recently, Omega retained his IWGP Heavyweight Title by defeating both Cody Rhodes & Kota Ibushi at NJPW’s recent King Of Pro-Wrestling Event. After retaining his IWGP Heavyweight Title, Kenny Omega tweeted out that he will be healing up not only for himself, but also for some of his relationships after taking on both Cody Rhodes & Kota Ibushi, as seen below:
It’s finally time to rest and recuperate. I have time to heal and rebuild my body, but more importantly I need to repair the damage done today to relationships. We’ll all be okay. The best is yet to come for the #GoldenLovers and #theelite . I won’t lose Ibushi again.
