All Elite Wrestling has just announced its latest talent signing, and it is a name that wrestling fans may be familiar with. AEW has just signed former ECW competitor Jerry Lynn to a contract. It appears that Lynn will be working for the promotion as a backstage producer just like WWE Hall of Famer Billy Gunn will also be doing. Lynn has been involved in the wrestling business for decades and can even still go in the ring. It does not look like he will be wrestling for AEW right now, but it is possible that he could still compete in the ring if the situation calls for it. Lynn has worked for major promotions such as ECW, WCW, TNA, WWE, and ROH in the past. His experience will definitely be useful as AEW prepares its launch.

Raw Superstar Nia Jax has been off of WWE television over the past few weeks due to an injury that she received not too long ago. Jax underwent surgery last month, but the former Raw Women’s Champion has just provided her fans a brief update on her recovery. Jax said on Twitter that she is still healing from her injuries, but the process is going nicely right now and the doctors have apparently even told Jax that she is getting better much faster than anticipated. Jax had surgery on both of her ACLs, which will likely keep her on the shelf for at least a few more months, but perhaps she will be back early. Since leaving to correct her injuries, Jax’s tag team partner, Tamina, has been forced to go at it alone on Raw.
Awww you guys are amazing!! Thank you all for sending the beautiful messages. I am doing very well, better than doctors expected ??, these messages are just keeping me motivated to get back to the ring quicker! Im so grateful ????♥??? https://t.co/JwdY1p48t8

NXT Superstar Tommaso Ciampa is also still out of action right now due to a serious neck injury that he received earlier this year. Doctors supposedly told Ciampa that he is on “borrowed time” now, but luckily, his most recent x-rays have come back with positive results. Ciampa said on Twitter yesterday that his doctors have told him that the x-rays look much better now, which is definitely a positive sign for the former NXT Tag Team Champion. Ciampa had neck surgery weeks ago, and he was forced to vacate the NXT Championship. He made a quick appearance at the end of NXT Takeover: New York to endorse Johnny Gargano as the new NXT Champion, but he still has months to go until he can return to the ring.
Got the results to my 2 month follow up x-ray.
Doc said “this doesn’t look good…it looks great”.
Happy Birthday to The Greatest Sports Entertainer of All Time#PartMan #PartWolverine#AllBlackheart ??
