OAKLAND, CA – Golden State Warrior basketball superstar Stephen Curry apparently emerged seemingly uninjured after being involved in a three-car crash just before 9 a.m. Friday on westbound Highway 24 on the Oakland side of the Caldecott Tunnel, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Around 8:50 a.m., Curry was driving a black Porshe sedan on westbound state Highway 24 just east of state Highway 13 when a silver Lexus also heading west made an unsafe lane change.
The driver of Lexus then somehow lost control and collided with Curry’s Porshe, according to CHP officials.
After the collision, Curry stopped his car in center median and waited for assistance. About 10 minutes later, as Curry waited, the driver of a black Honda on the highway lost control of their vehicle and veered into the center median, striking the concrete wall first and then Curry’s Porshe afterward.
No injuries were reported in either collision and the involved drivers cooperated with the investigation, CHP officials said.
