Following the Supreme Court’s order to provide shelter for homeless people, the Agra district magistrate has written a letter to Railways, asking them to provide details of abandoned and unused train coaches, which can be converted into shelters for homeless people.
In an SC directive dated October 13, 2017 and November 8, 2017, to the state urban development agency (SUDA), the apex court had ordered the department to convert the abandoned train coaches into shelters for homeless persons living in city area.
Speaking with TOI, Sanchit Tyagi, divisional commercial railway manager, said, “We have received a letter from Agra district magistrate’s office, who has asked us to provide details of abandoned coaches in our division.Click Here: United Kingdom Rugby Jerseys
