If blondes have more fun, then consider James Franco’s new hairstyle confirmation that spring break really does last forever. The 38-year-old actor showed off a shoulder-length blonde ‘do with pastel pink and blue ombré ends on Instagram today, that channels his role as Alien, the tattooed rapper and drug dealer from the film Spring Breakers, and the rapper RiFF Raff, who has an affinity for neon and Versace.
The character’s similarities with the rapper initally caused a rift between the actor and musician, but it looks like RiFF Raff has realized that imitation really is the highest form of flattery, and the two are collaborating. Franco captioned his selfie, “MADE in AMERICA RIFF RAFF (@joeyhighroller) video coming soon.” Consider their newfound friendship a rainbow connection.
