May will see the annual Retail Trust Week, a fundraising event where staff from the shopfloor to the boardroom help raise both awareness and funds for the Retail Trust.
This May will see House of Fraser, BHS, Harrods, Matalan, Debenhams and a host of independents taking part in a series of events to raise money for the charity.
Retail staff will skydive, abseil and wear fancy dress in a bid to break last year’s record-brdaking total of £100,000.
The Retail Trust will also bid to break the world record for the most T-shirts worn by one person at the same time. The event will take place at Westfield Shopping Centre on May 14th. Shoppers can also enter a prize draw to win a Ford Ka, donated by Jaeger owner Harold Tillman.
The Retail Trust is an organisation that supports everyone working in and retired from the retail industry. For further information go to www.retailtrustweek.org.uk.
