A video of a village elder in North Kashmir’s Hajin area pleading two Lashkar-e- Taiba terrorists for releasinga 12-year-old boy who was held captive and was killed on Thursday. Mir Mohalla, the elder could beseen saying this is not “Jihad” but “Jahalat” referring to the abduction of the child by terrorists. But those who claim to be doing Jihad for Kashmiris killed the little boy in the name of it.
Mir made appeals to two Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists, Ali alias Furkan and Hubaib, to release Atif Mir. The incident took place 33 km in the north of Srinagar where the terrorists had taken shelter at the boy’s home at gunpoint, the police official said on Friday.
