Leonardo DiCaprio must be approaching sainthood by now. The Oscar winner landed in Edinburgh, Scotland, on Thursday, and proved that you can turn even a simple meal into a charity event.
Leo lunched at Home, a café created by restaurateur Dean Gassabi and Josh Littlejohn, which supports the homeless. Diners could donate £5 for a meal for the homeless, and were then entered to win a chance to dine with DiCaprio himself.
The contest donated a whopping 12,000 meals to charity, and the lucky winner, Elise Lovell, got to share a meal with our “boo boo.” Naturally, she took advantage of her fairytale encounter and hit on the hunky actor.
“I have a suite at The George tonight … Do you need somewhere to stay?” she reportedly joked to the Oscar winner.
DiCaprio graciously waved to fans and signed autographs outside the restaurant, reminding us all why we fell for this charitable star.
