You can’t separate New Yorkers from their black staples, but Big Apple born and bred star Lady Gaga offered a new take on dark-toned Manhattan dressing on Monday.
As she stepped out of her Central Park South apartment, the 30-year-old pop star and actress put forth some swagger with a head-to-toe ensemble that screamed all things Wild Wild West. Gaga slipped into a ripped pair of black jeans and a matching V-neck shirt that she effortlessly tied on one side. And while there’s nothing new about a jeans-and-tee combination, it’s the musician’s accessories that gave her a rock-n-roll edge.
She balanced sleek, pointed-toe studded booties with a matching set of leather lace-up sleeves on her forearms. Her wide-brim cowgirl hat was just that, and she topped it all off with a pearl-adorned black chocker and oversize shades. A bodyguard behind her also carried the same stage-ready guitar she rocked just a few days ago.
