The Portuguese striker has been a success in La Liga following his temporary move, but admits he would still rather have remained at the San Siro
AC Milan forward Andre Silva insists he would rather be playing in Serie A, despite scoring seven goals in 14 appearances across all competitions for Sevilla this season.
The 23-year-old was sent out on loan to the Spanish outfit for a year during the last transfer window, after an unsuccessful first season in Italian football.

The Portugal international signed for Milan from Porto in 2017, but only managed to score eight goals in 36 appearances during his debut campaign and failed to hold down a regular place in the starting XI.
Silva’s form in La Liga has been much better and he has played a vital role for the Rojiblancos over the last three months, helping them to secure a place in the top three, just four points behind league leaders Barcelona.
Despite his recent success, the Milan star has confessed that he never wanted to leave the San Siro in the first place and still hopes to become one of the best strikers in Europe in the future.
“I am working to become the best striker in the World”, Andre Silva told Portuguese paper A Bola.
“I didn’t want to leave AC Milan, I wanted to play. I wanted to have opportunities and be the Andre that I always was.
“But I definitely needed more game time. I had many options but in the end, I said yes to Sevilla. Now I am here and I feel I’ve done the best possible choice.”
Silva also offered insight into how working with Cristiano Ronaldo at international level has helped him to improve his overall game.
“Training and playing with him is different. I can say that he is someone who transmits even more motivation to his team-mates, he makes me want more,” Silva continued.
“Since I trained and played with him, I felt there was a lot more room to grow.”
The former Porto man will be back in action for Sevilla in the Europa League on Thursday against Akhisar in Turkey, while Milan are also on European duty on the same night against Real Betis in Spain.
