Thomas Pink Execs Take Part In Event At Shin Kong Place
Thomas Pink debuts “Made to Order” at Shin Kong Place
This past weekend, the British high-end shirt-makers Thomas Pink launched an exclusive “Made to Order” event at Beijing’s Shin Kong Place. With senior Thomas Pink execs in attendance, including CEO and global brand director Jonathan Helbron, creative director Simon Maloney, and senior designer of the brand’s Jermyn St. boutique store in the UK, Aaron Barrientos, the event gave guests a chance to interact with the company’s top brass and take part in promotional activities.
Running through May 24, one of the event’s highlights, “Personally Pink Made to Order,” allows customers access to the kind of Thomas Pink custom tailoring services normally reserved for customers in the UK. During this part of the event, senior designer Aaron Barrientos personally provides custom services in a “Made to Order Corner” workshop designed as an exact replica of the company’s Jermyn Street boutique, giving Chinese shoppers a taste of Britain right at home. Also as part of the event, Thomas Pink created a special “pop-up” Shirt Bar in the main display area outside the boutique at Shin Kong Place, where classic shirts from recent decades are displayed to educate consumers on the brand’s trademark cutting and stitching.
Though “Personally Pink Made to Order” closes on May 24, Thomas Pink Shirt Bar will be on display through May 27.
